Roll Back Your Display Driver

  1. on the taskbar in the search box, type the device manager and select it from the results list.
  2. Then select the arrow to expand Display adapters.
  3. Under the Display adapters, then right-click on the adapter, then select the Properties.
  4. Select the Driver button and select Roll Back Driver, and then select the Yes button.
  5. Now Restart Your Device.

Update Your Display Driver

  1. type the device manager in the search box on the taskbar, and select it from the results list.
  2. Then select the arrow to expand Display adapters.
  3. Under the Display, the adapter right-clicks on the adapter and then select the Update button.

Uninstall Your Display Driver

  1. type the device manager in the search box on the taskbar and select it from the results list.
  2. Now select the arrow to expand the Display adapters.
  3. Right-click on the adapter under the Display adapters and then select the properties tab.
  4. Select the option of Delete the driver software for this device checkbox option and then select the OK button.
  5. Then restart your device, and windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Update an Application

  1. if the app came from the Microsoft Store, check the updates for applications from the Microsoft Store.
  2. If the application did not come from the Microsoft Store, check the manufacturer’s site for the updates.

Uninstall an Application

Some of the applications are not compatible with Windows 10 and can cause flickering or a scrambled screen. Try to uninstall the application:

  1. firstly select the start button and then select the Settings and then click on the Application bar and then select the Apps and Features, and it will then take a moment for your applications to appear.
  2. Scroll down to the list and then find the application that you want to uninstall.
  3. Select the application, select the Uninstall button, and then click on the Uninstall button; if you need to ask to confirm your selection, select the Yes button.

After uninstalling the first app restart your device and then check if the screen flickering or scrambled problem has been resolved or not. If it is not, uninstall each application one by one until the problem is solved.

Reinstall an Application

  1. Select the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar.
  2. Select the More tab and then click on the My Library.
  3. Select the application that you want to reinstall and then select the Install button.
